Upgrading the LACT (Lease Automatic Custody Transfer) meter system at Energy and Mineral Resources Company aims to increase reliability and efficiency regarding fluid volume and quality. In operation, the previous model of LACT used analog - mechanical system measuring equipment which had a high potential for system failure and some errors due to various reasons such as calibration errors ( inappropriate scale values), zero point errors (parallax errors), fatigue of measuring instrument component or materials (mechanical in nature), the influence of working environmental conditions and manual calculation which were prone to errors. The method used includes a cost-benefit analysis, showing that the implementation of new technology can increase the accuracy and reliability of measurements, reduce the frequency of calibration of ATG (Automatic Temperature Gravity) equipment, and enable real-time monitoring. With FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) analysis combined with fishbone diagram and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) methods, this LACT system upgrade program provides operational cost savings and increases company income through technological improvements in meter components such as ATG compensators, pulse generators, process sensor variables that are still analog such as pressure, pressure and fluid flow. This LACT update provides efficiency and effectiveness for companies in managing operations, especially regarding custody transfer, of course training is needed for personnel who operate and maintain this system so that it provides added value as well as convenience and safety in operations
