PENGARUH WORK-LIFE BALANCE DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP KINERJA DRIVER MOTOR OJEK ONLINE DI KOTA PALANGKA RAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Work-Life Balance dan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Driver Ojek Online di Kota Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). Sampel penelitian sebanyak 96 responden driver ojek online yang terdiri dari Gojek, Grab, dan Maxim yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1-5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Work-Life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Driver dengan nilai koefisien 0.584 (t-statistik = 4.785; p-value = 0.000). Kecerdasan Emosional juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Driver dengan nilai koefisien 0.358 (t-statistik = 2.775; p-value = 0.003). Secara simultan, kedua variabel independen tersebut mampu menjelaskan 79.7% variasi Kinerja Driver Ojek Online. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Work-Life Balance memberikan kontribusi lebih dominan dibandingkan Kecerdasan Emosional dalam meningkatkan kinerja driver ojek online. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar perusahaan penyedia layanan ojek online mengembangkan kebijakan yang mendukung keseimbangan kehidupan kerja driver dan menyelenggarakan program pelatihan kecerdasan emosional untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan kesejahteraan driver.
This study aims to analyze the influence of Work-Life Balance and Emotional Intelligence on the Performance of Online Motorcycle Taxi Drivers in Palangka Raya City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. The research sample consisted of 96 respondents of online motorcycle taxi drivers from Gojek, Grab, and Maxim, selected using random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1-5. The results show that Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Driver Performance with a coefficient value of 0.584 (t-statistic = 4.785; p-value = 0.000). Emotional Intelligence also has a positive and significant effect on Driver Performance with a coefficient value of 0.358 (t-statistic = 2.775; p-value = 0.003). Simultaneously, both independent variables can explain 79.7% of the variation in Online Motorcycle Taxi Driver Performance. These findings indicate that Work-Life Balance contributes more dominantly than Emotional Intelligence in improving online motorcycle taxi driver performance. This study recommends that online motorcycle taxi service providers develop policies that support drivers' work-life balance and organize emotional intelligence training programs to improve service quality and driver welfare.
