The hospitality industry is increasingly required to implement sustainable operational practices as part of its commitment to environmental conservation and efficient resource utilization. One of the sustainability initiatives adopted in hotel operations is the Green Linen Program, which encourages guests to reuse bed linens during their stay to reduce the frequency of daily linen replacement. This initiative is expected to minimize the consumption of water, electricity, and laundry chemicals while reducing laundry operational workloads without compromising hotel service standards. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Green Linen Program within the Housekeeping Department of Hotel X in the Gatot Subroto area of Jakarta, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation, and examine its contribution to improving housekeeping operational efficiency. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature review as data collection techniques. The research participants consisted of the Executive Housekeeper, Floor Supervisor, Room Attendants, and operational staff directly involved in the implementation of the program. Data were analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Green Linen Program improves housekeeping operational efficiency by reducing the frequency of linen replacement, lowering water and electricity consumption, decreasing detergent usage, and reducing laundry operating hours. Furthermore, the program supports sustainable hotel operations by minimizing resource consumption and operational waste. However, several challenges remain, including limited guest communication, varying levels of employee understanding regarding program procedures, and insufficient communication media explaining the benefits of the initiative. Therefore, strengthening standard operating procedures, enhancing employee competencies, and conducting continuous evaluations are recommended to ensure consistent implementation and maximize the operational and environmental benefits of the program.
