Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh training and development, kompensasi, dan performance appraisal system terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan job satisfaction sebagai variabel intervening di Badan Kepegawaian, Pendidikan, dan Pelatihan (BKPP) Kabupaten Demak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus, dengan seluruh pegawai BKPP Kabupaten Demak sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa training and development, kompensasi, dan performance appraisal system berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job satisfaction. Selain itu, job satisfaction berperan sebagai variabel intervening yang memperkuat pengaruh ketiga variabel independen terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan training and development, kompensasi yang kompetitif, serta performance appraisal system yang transparan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan kinerja pegawai. Oleh karena itu, BKPP Kabupaten Demak disarankan untuk terus mengembangkan kebijakan sumber daya manusia guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan produktivitas pegawai.

This study aims to analyze the influence of training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal system on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Agency for Personnel, Education, and Training (BKPP) of Demak Regency. This research employs an explanatory research design with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is a census method, involving all employees of BKPP Demak as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships among variables. The findings indicate that training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal system have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction serves as an intervening variable that strengthens the influence of these three independent variables on employee performance. The conclusion of this study suggests that enhancing training and development, implementing a competitive compensation system, and ensuring a transparent performance appraisal system can improve both job satisfaction and employee performance. Therefore, BKPP Demak is advised to continuously develop human resource policies to enhance employee effectiveness and productivity.
