IMPLEMENTASI ESG DALAM MENDUKUNG PENCAPAIAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) PADA PT INDOFOOD SUKSES MAKMUR TBK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dalam mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) pada PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui analisis konten terhadap laporan tahunan dan laporan keberlanjutan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indofood telah mengimplementasikan ESG dalam berbagai aspek operasionalnya. Pada aspek environmental, perusahaan melakukan pengelolaan limbah, efisiensi energi, dan pengendalian emisi yang berkontribusi terhadap SDG 12 dan SDG 13. Pada aspek social, perusahaan aktif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan dan menjalankan program tanggung jawab sosial yang mendukung SDG 8. Sementara itu, pada aspek governance, perusahaan telah menerapkan prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas yang sejalan dengan SDG 16.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in support of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. This study employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods through content analysis of the company’s annual and sustainability reports. The results indicate that Indofood has implemented ESG principles across various aspects of its operations. In the environmental aspect, the company manages waste, promotes energy efficiency, and controls emissions, which contribute to SDG 12 and SDG 13. In the social aspect, the company is active in improving employee welfare and implementing corporate social responsibility programs that support SDG 8. Meanwhile, in the governance aspect, the company has applied principles of transparency and accountability in line with SDG 16.
