Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of work ethic on teacher performance, analyze the influence of work environment on teacher performance, analyze the influence of job satisfaction on teacher performance, analyze the influence of work ethic on job satisfaction, analyze the influence of work environment on job satisfaction, analyze the influence of work ethic on teacher performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, and analyzing the influence of the work environment on teacher performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable for elementary school teachers in Cilegon District, Cilegon City. This research method is a survey with an associative type. The population used in this research were elementary school teachers in Cilegon District, Cilegon City, namely 219 people. The sampling technique was carried out using the Slovin formula, namely 142 people were obtained. Data analysis techniques using. regression test, path analysis, and T statistical test. Research data was obtained from answers to questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers in Cilegon District, Cilegon City. The research results were obtained from the results of hypothesis testing that work ethic has a direct and significant influence on performance. The work environment has a direct and significant influence on performance. Job satisfaction has a direct and significant influence on performance. Incentives have a direct and significant influence on job satisfaction. The work environment has a significant influence on job satisfaction. The conclusion of this research is that work ethic and work environment have a direct and significant influence on the performance of elementary school teachers in Cilegon District, Cilegon City, ignoring job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
