Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of incentives on work motivation, analyze the effect of competence on work motivation, analyze the effect of incentives on teacher performance with work motivation as an intervening variable, analyze the effect of competence on teacher performance, analyze the effect of competence on work motivation, analyze the effect of competence on teacher performance with work motivation as an intervening variable, and analyzing the influence of work motivation on teacher performance at SMP 3 Cilegon, Cilegon City. This research method is a survey with an associative type. The sampling technique was carried out using a saturated sampling method or the entire population, namely all 52 teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Cilegon, Cilegon City. Data analysis techniques using. regression test, path analysis, and T statistical test. Research data was obtained from answers to questionnaires distributed to teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Cilegon, Cilegon City. The research results were obtained from the results of hypothesis testing that incentives have a significant direct influence on performance. Competence has a significant direct influence on performance. Motivation has a significant direct influence on performance. Incentives have a significant direct influence on motivation. Competence has no influence and is not significant on motivation. The conclusion of this research is that incentives have an indirect effect on teacher performance with motivation as an intervening variable, and an indirect effect on teacher performance with motivation as an intervening variable.
