PERAN GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MENGATASI KONFLIK DI LINGKUNGAN SD IT NURUL FAJAR PATUMBAK

This research aims to explore the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in overcoming conflict in the Nurul Fajar Patumbak Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SD IT) environment. Conflicts that occur in the school environment, both between students and between students and teachers, are a phenomenon that requires appropriate handling to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Aqidah Akhlak teachers, as educators who focus on building students' character and morals, have a strategic role in resolving conflicts through an approach based on Islamic values. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research informants consisted of Aqidah Akhlak teachers. The research results show that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher at SD IT Nurul Fajar Patumbak plays an important role in conflict mediation, providing moral advice and guidance, as well as promoting the values of tolerance, cooperation and mutual respect among students. Through a holistic and personal approach, teachers succeed in helping students understand and resolve conflict in a constructive way. Apart from that, collaboration between teachers, students and parents is also a supporting factor in creating a harmonious school environment. This research concludes that the role of the Aqidah Akhlak teacher is vital in overcoming conflict in schools, and suggests increasing capacity and training for teachers to be more effective in carrying out this role. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for other educational institutions in their efforts to create a peaceful and harmonious learning environment.
